Yay! Fun Weekend

Nick and Cristina and I got together to visit some wineries. Bethany and Brandon met us at the first winery,
James River Cellars, not too far from Richmond. Here is a pic of us walking back to the car.

Then Brandon and Bethany went home and Nick and Cristina and I went to
Grayhaven Winery. They had these stools there and they sold warm baguettes with local goat cheese. So we stayed a while and drank some wine and ate some yummy food. Then we took more pictures.

We finally made it to Cooper Vineyards where they make a delicious chocolate wine called Noche. Seriously, you have to try this wine. It is so good. It was all we could do to make it home before we opened a bottle of it ourselves.

Northern Neck Wineries

Nick and I went to Virginia's Northern Neck to visit some wineries this weekend. The Northern Neck wasn't as pretty as Charlottesville, but was enjoyable none the less. We started out at Oak Crest at the top of the Northern Neck. Then we made our way down to Ingleside. I thought their labels were cute. We finally ended our day trip at Belle Mount. Nick's GPS chose some interesting "roads" to get us there.
