Candy

My mom called last night to ask if I had gotten any trick-or-treaters. Nick and I haven't gotten trick-or-treaters since we left Cedar Terrace 4 years ago. So I told her no, we didn't buy any candy this year because we didn't want to have to eat it all. She told me, "Well, you were smart. I bought candy and I have already had to eat some." Have the amount of trick-or-treaters decreased since we were kids or have I just not found the right neighborhood?
